Customers Have Been Complaining
Since the beginning of the Covid_19 pandemic, many have seen some of their favorite pastimes become obsolete. So many of our local small businesses have suffered a great deal, but in reality the customers have suffered the most.
Diners are one group in particular that have been facing tougher times when ordering take out. So many of the big name franchises have squandered their resources and blame supply chain issues for their poor customer service.
Locally there are many restaurants that have truly lowered the bar for poor service, while others have stepped up to the plate. So here at Fidelcashflowva.com we are left to wonder, “What Constitutes A Customer?”
Many Service Industries Are At Fault
When you think of fast food, you may remember some of the best times of your childhood. Those McDonald’s trips after school were the absolute best. As we grew older the glory of places like McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and Burger King faded a bit. Generally as an adult you choose fast food for a quick bite before and after work, typically rushing the whole time.
The days of getting your food quickly have gone by, and now things are looking bleak for most of us customers. Not only has the speed of service dropped dramatically, the friendly customer service that you were accustomed to is no more.
Understandably most workers are not at fault. They are, however, ruining the companies that they work for due to the poor customer service that they choose to provide. A drive thru order shouldn’t seem as if it pains the employee to fulfill it. Most of these workers should actually search for alternative employment if they can’t deliver “service with a smile”.

What Does It Mean To Be A Customer?
To be a customer in 2022 means that you must be prepared to accept inadequate, rude, and downright lousy service. I do want to apologize to the individuals who give 110% everyday at their respective jobs. You must bear the brunt of the load, while reaping minute benefits which can be trying to say the least. Kudos to you, you are noticed and appreciated!
Guys, you don’t have to deal with shitty customer service at any business. Get your money refunded if the workers mess your order up, don’t accept that kind of treatment. The majority of us have worked fast-food at some point in our lives, and simply by looking into the kitchen, the job is self explanatory. Fix the food fast, safely, and orderly. Period. Oh yeah, cashiers…it doesn’t hurt to smile.
